In 1966 Trinity lost its building to Interstate 94 construction. The mission-minded congregation voted to use its resources in active outreach to the Cedar-Riverside community rather than investing in a new church building. The lack of conventional church walls frees us to tear down walls that can separate us from effective service to God and each other.
But we do need a few practical walls. We worship in the Augsburg College chapel at the corner of Riverside and 22nd Avenue in Minneapolis (get directions). Our office is at the corner of Riverside and 20th Avenue.

As Christs presence in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood and the Church Without Walls, Trinity is crossing many barriers as the Body of Christ, especially those of language, country of origin, tribe and skin color.
As part of our efforts to transform our faith community, Trinity called Alemseged Hagos as Associate Pastor in 2004. Since then we have welcomed more than 35 members from East Africa, primarily Ethiopia and Eritrea.
Trinity is a rich place for learning about other cultures and how to be together as Christs Body in the midst of diversity. Learn more about us by browsing our Web site or reading our monthly newsletter. (February 25th Issue)
