Senior Pastor Jane Buckley-Farlee

Associate Pastor Alem Asmelash
Pastor Alem was called to Trinity in April 2004 to strengthen our outreach to immigrant and refugee families. Speaking six languages, including Amharic, Tigrigna, and Swedish, empowers Pastor Alem’s passion for outreach and evangelism. Email: pastoralem@trinity-lc.org

Intern Pastor – Jon Gathje
Jon has been a student at Luther Seminary since 2008, and will be serving as the intern at Trinity for the next two years. Originally from Nebraska, much of his passion for ministry has been shaped by his interests in teaching, music, and young people. Email: intern@trinity-lc.org

Lutheran Volunteer Corps Volunteer – Alyson Sweet
New England native, Alyson has recently moved to Minneapolis and joined Trinity staff as LVC and Safe Place: Homework Help Coordinator where she will be serving until August 2011. Her interest in international studies and desire to work with urban youth have brought her to the culturally rich neighborhood of Cedar-Riverside. Email: tutoring@trinity-lc.org

Organist / Pianist — Donna Edwards
Donna has been Trinity’s organist for 47 years. Her ability to play in a variety of different styles has enriched Trinity’s worship for many years, especially as Trinity’s worship celebrates our increasing diversity.

Director of Music – Ray Makeever
An active and highly regarded Lutheran musician, Ray’s ministry at Trinity began in October 2005. Since then he has enlivened our worship with a variety of multicultural musical experiences and re-energized Trinity’s choir.

Parish Nurse – Jeanne Mugge, RN
Jeanne’s primary focus as parish nurse is to promote health and wellness to Trinity members and to the community. She does monthly blood pressures on Sunday morning and at the Brian Coyle Community Center and hosts an annual health fair in the fall. She encourages members to participate in healthy activities through health campaigns, face to face contact, and through the newsletter. She offers Healing Touch to members once a month and is hosting a grief and loss support group this fall.

Administrative Assistant — Joan Christensen
Joan has served as Trinity’s Administrative Assistant
since June, 2007. She is in the office Tuesday — Friday,

Bookkeeper – Sandy Kieser
Sandy served as Trinity’s secretary/bookkeeper from April 2004 to July 2005. Sandy still handles our books and works the front desk in the office every Monday.
